As construction for President Donald Trump’s $300 million ballroom is underway, the president announced on Sunday at the White House holiday party that his administration will begin constructing a “triumphal arc” modeled after the Arc de Triomphe located in Paris, France. The Arc de Triomphe was constructed to honor those who died in France fighting during the Napoleonic wars.
