Rai1, 9.25 pm: Don Matteo 13
“So close, so far” is the title of the fourth episode of “Don Matteo 13”, broadcast on Rai 1 on Thursday 21 April at 21.25, directed by Luca Brignone and starring Terence Hill, Nino Frassica, Maria Chiara Giannetta, Maurizio Lastrico, Nathalie Guetta, Francesco Scali, Pamela Villoresi, Emma Valenti, Mattia Teruzzi, Giorgia Agata, Aurora Mementi, Pietro Pulcini, Domenico Pinelli, Francesco Castiglione. A Lux Vide production, a company of the Fremantle group, in collaboration with Rai Fiction produced by Matilde and Luca Bernabei.
In the episode, Franco Fanelli is Marco’s half-brother, with whom the PM however has never had a good relationship. But there seem to be other reasons behind Franco’s presence in Spoleto, perhaps related to the murder of a parishioner of Don Matteo. And while Federico and Greta get closer and closer, Anna receives the unexpected visit of Colonel Lucio Valente, her instructor at the time of the Academy, with whom she has always had a great understanding.
Meanwhile, Marshal Cecchini unexpectedly finds himself at the center of attention throughout Spoleto, due to a new literary case: a series of mystery novels that seems to be inspired by him.
Rai2, 9.20 pm: Males against females
An early evening dedicated to comedy on Thursday 21 April on Rai 2 which at 21.20 broadcasts “Maschi contro feminine”, a film directed by Fausto Brizzi with Paola Cortellesi, Fabio De Luigi, Francesco Pannofino, Carla Signoris, Alessandro Preziosi, Lucia Ocone, Nicolas Vaporidis, Chiara Francini and Paolo Ruffini. The protagonist is the eternal clash between the female and male universe, told through the events of four couples whose stories and vicissitudes are intertwined. The film won the Diamanti al Cinema award at the 2011 Venice Film Festival in the Best Director category and two Silver Ribbons for Best Actress for Paola Cortellesi and Best Comedy.
Rai3, 9.20 pm: Special Frontiers
“What story is this? Putin’s war” is the title of Speciale Frontiere, broadcast exceptionally in prime time, hosted by Franco Di Mare. What are the Kremlin leader’s true aims? Keep Ukraine away from the Atlantic alliance? Defend Donbass in the hands of pro-Russian separatists? Is its goal the same as the countless conflicts sown by Moscow in former Soviet republics, such as Abkhazia and South Ossetia in Georgia, and Transnistria in Moldova? Or is this the first stage of a large-scale military operation to rebuild the Soviet Empire? Paolo Rumiz, editorialist of La Repubblica; Adriano Roccucci, full professor of Contemporary History at the Roma Tre University; Giorgio Cella, professor at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and analyst of international politics; the economist Giuseppe Sabella and the journalist Andrea Sceresini, author of many investigations and war reports for «La Stampa», «Il Foglio», «Il Fatto Quotidiano» and «l’Espresso» and who made the documentary with Giuseppe Borrello “The discipline of silence”, investigation into the death of the photojournalist Andrea Rocchelli, killed on May 24, 2014 in Donbass.
Canale5, 9.40 pm: Big Show
Third appointment with “Big Show” the variety hosted by Enrico Papi, in which everyone can become protagonists for one evening (unbeknownst to them). Spectators of the Auditorium Massimo in Rome and those who watch the show comfortably on their sofa at home, especially if they have a special talent or a dream to realize, can suddenly be involved in the show and perhaps make one of their dreams come true thanks to the complicity of relatives and friends. A former CIA man, Bryan Mills is the target of revenge by a group of Albanian criminals, related to the kidnappers killed by his hand in the liberation of his daughter Kim some time ago. What could have been a relaxing holiday in Istanbul for the experienced retired agent, his ex-wife Lenore and his resolute daughter, will turn into a new nightmare between fights with bare hands, bullets, bombs, torture and car rides through the alleys of the Turkish city.
Rete4, 9.25 pm: Straight and Backhand
The consequences and the new scenarios opened up by the Russian offensive in the Donbass will be at the center of the new appointment with “Dritto e Rovescio”, the talk show hosted by Paolo Del Debbio. With connections and testimonies from the front, we will try to understand what is the real goal of Vladimir Putin and what are the viable ways to achieve peace. During the evening, ample space will be dedicated to the economic repercussions of the sanctions: citizens and businesses in fact find themselves having to deal with the cost of living and the increase in energy. Is there a risk of reaching a real war economy with the rationing of goods? And again, a focus on Russian propaganda, which is playing a fundamental role in this war and which accuses Western information of being biased. Finally, in view of the Liberation Day on April 25, an in-depth analysis of the controversies arising from the position taken by some Anpi exponents, the National Association of Partisans of Italy, who said they were against sending arms to Ukraine. Two apparent criminals, Robert Trench and Michael Stigman, are stopped at the US border after meeting drug lord Papi Greco in Mexico. Trench is an undercover DEA agent and reports to his superior, Jessup, that he failed in his mission which was to buy cocaine from Greco which would then be used as evidence to incriminate him. Against Jessup’s orders, Trench decides to help Stigman steal $3 million from Greco from the bank where he keeps it so he can frame him for money laundering.

Movie 2006 in the comedy genre, directed by Tom Dey, with Matthew McConaughey, Sarah Jessica Parker, Zooey Deschanel, Justin Bartha, Bradley Cooper, Terry Bradshaw. Duration 97 minutes.
Tripp, thirty-five with the vice of sailing and women, sails and loves on sight. He comes home from him just to wrap himself in his mother’s ironed sheets, to listen to his father’s advice and to close with the women who jeopardize his single condition. Until the day the parents decide to reclaim their status as a couple and hire a professional family relationship. Paula, a very sexy and not very city Jessica Parker, is a young consultant firmly determined to help Tripp find himself and his desire for independence. Paula’s petty psychology seems to work but her appearances often deceive and Tripp will soon discover the scam which, promptly dissolved, will become love.
