Notably, Zelensky recently visited the White House to address Congress. This was the Ukrainian President’s first foreign visit since the war began. The Ukrainian President made his trip to secure support from the USA for his war efforts. Notably, the US Government has thus pledged a $1.8 billion package to Ukraine as a display of support.
So Dykstra took to Twitter to share his opinion on the news, quoting, “Someone explain to me why everyone cares so much about Ukraine, not an ally, not even in NATO, as opposed to the off-and-on deadly Tigray Conflict in East Africa? Can’t seem to figure out why! And, yes, in asking, I’m quite aware, Representative Jeffries, that you are African American.”
Therefore, another instance of Dykstra showing his discontent over the US administrative decisions. Though, apart from the Ukraine-Russia war, the controversial MLB legend has also voiced his opinion on other contemporary issues.
