The Last of Us is one of the most phenomenal video game titles to ever step into the community packaging thrill, suspense, emotions, and the factor of unpredictability. Luckily, the world is soon going to see the adaptation of it brought forward by HBO. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey will be playing the role of Joel and Ellie, respectively. Interestingly, it seems they belong to the same roots or, as they call it, “birthing place.”
For those who might not know, Pascal played the role of Oberyn Martell in the HBO series Game of Thrones. Moreover, Ramsey was playing the role of Lyanna Mormont in the same series. And the question does arise if their featuring in the same series before TLOU helped them or not.

The Last of Us actors share how their Game of Thrones connection came up in the upcoming series
Recently, the two stars appeared in an IGN interview wherein the two shared the background process that took place, such as Ramsey’s preparations for Ellie’s role and their encounters with clickers. Then came a question, “You two share a Game of Thrones connection. Did that come up during filming?”
To this, the two agreed cheerfully that they come “from the same home, the birthing place.” Pedro said with a smile, “Yeah, we were birthed from the same world of violence.” Ramsey then stated, “That’s HBO too.”
Pedro concluded the thought by saying, “Carolyn Strauss was our boss and no one could ask for a better one. But it is sort of a bond that we have because for me that was the biggest job that I’d ever gotten and it was the first job that you [Ramsey] ever got. And neither one of us would be here if it weren’t for Game of Thrones.”

Hence, it is nice to know the bond that the two personalities have in real life. The fact that Game of Thrones was their first project and then meeting again for The Last of Us, in which the two are performing the roles of Joel and Ellie, becomes a story in itself.
Ultimately, January 15 will be the day that the audience witnesses the on-screen chemistry of the two and how all characters blend in the environment to further make the viewers engrossed in the HBO series, The Last of Us.
