CANOE BELIEVE THIS REVIEW?!? We Try Every Drink & Waffle at Jungle Cruise Skipper Society on Disney Treasure

Wave goodbye to the people on the dock and join us as we review our favorite drinks at the Skipper Society Lounge aboard the Disney Treasure.
The lounge is on deck 3, forward of the Grand Hall, in the same space as The Bayou aboard the Disney Wish.
Skipper Society Lounge Review Interior
Interior
The Skipper Society Lounge resembles a bar that’s been constructed in the middle of the jungle. It features nods to the iconic Jungle Cruise attraction at Disney Parks around the globe.

Mocktail
Jungle Juice (non-alcoholic)– $6 Passion Orange Guava, Lychee, Boba Bursting Pearls It’s sweet and refreshing, though the provided straw is not large enough for the boba pearls. Overall, a fine zero-proof option. Rating out of 7: 6
Cocktails
HippopotoMai-Tai – $9 Bayab Gin, Campari, Orgeat, Lime This HippopotoMai-Tai is a different recipe than the one at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. It tasted refreshing, clean, and juicy with no syrupy or artificial aftertaste. Rating out of 7: 6
Safari So Good – $9 Bumbu XO Rum, Chila Orchata, Banana, Coconut, Cream Our review group dubbed this drink a “tropical vacation in a cup,” and an “instant seven out of seven.” Served with an edible straw that’s tropical flavored. The straw gives the drink a sugary candy sweetness. It’s not too thick and has a natural flavor with no weird aftertaste. Rating out of 7: 7
Piranha Punch – $12 Teremana Reposado, Campari, Pineapple, Lime, Agave This drink is served to you in a smokey box and overall is a great drink for the price. It’s fresh with no syrupy aftertaste. Mexico pavilion at EPCOT, take note!
Rating out of 7: 6
Skipper Sipper – $15 or $50 in the EMS Empress Boat Tiki Mug Goslings Ocean Aged Rum, Angel’s Envy Bourbon, Kahlua, Lime, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Honey The souvenir drink is served in a tiki mug resembling the Ems Empress Jungle Cruise boat and featuring a few chimpanzees wreaking havoc — a nod to the scene from the updated Jungle Cruise attraction. The drink is smooth with the tropical juice flavors that you’d expect from a tiki cocktail. The honey is more present than we thought it would be, but that paired with the cinnamon gives a nice sweetness to it. It’s slightly reminiscent of the Uh-Oa from Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Walt Disney World.

On Tap
Jungle Navigation Co. Ale (5.1% ABV) – $7.50 description Part of our review group doesn’t particularly enjoy beer, however, they said this was drinkable and they liked it a lot. It’s malty with notes of fruit flavor. It’s not quite as good as the Kungaloosh Spiced Excursion Ale at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen at Walt Disney World but it’s within that same family. Rating out of 7: 5
Specialty Drinks
Amazon Golden Latte – $5.75 Coconut Milk, Almond Milk, Monin Golden Tumeric, Cinnamon This drink is plant-based and vegan-friendly. Served with an edible coffee-flavored straw, it tastes mainly like cinnamon, coconut milk, and almond milk. The straw does provide a hint of coffee flavor to give a latte effect. Rating out of 7: 4
Navigators Iced Tea – $5.75 Twinings Earl Grey, Monin Mango, Passion Bursting Pearls Our review group felt as though they were “transported to EPCOT for a festival drink” upon tasting this beverage. While we didn’t find it to be one of the best drinks, it was refreshing with a strong mango flavor. The initial taste is of fruit juice with the herbal Earl Grey to finish. Rating out of 7: 2
Sweets & Treats Menu
Waffles – $5
Salted Caramel Tini – $12
Old Fashioned Breakfast – $20
Sweets & Treats Reviews
Waffles – $5 Apple Cinnamon or Original, served with Maple Syrup or Nutella The waffles were hot and fresh and had the perfect soft texture, not hard or crispy. Paired with the maple syrup, it gave the waffle just the right amount of sweetness. We’d highly recommend you try this. While both are great, we give the edge to the Nutella version. However, both achieved our top rating. Rating out of 7: 7
Salted Caramel Tini – $12 Starr Rum 7 Years, Bailey’s Salted Caramel, Barrel Aged Maple, Cream, Apple Cinnamon Waffle The waffle is served on top of the drink and appears to be torched creating a toasted effect. The barrel-aged maple seemed to collect at the bottom of the glass but did not take away from the taste at all which was reminiscent of butterscotch. The drink overall was strong but very good and was one of the best cocktails we had while onboard. Rating out of 7: 7
Old Fashioned Breakfast – $20 Old Forester Statesman, Barrel Aged Maple, Orange Bitter, Bourbon Sugar, Bacon, Waffle The overall presentation is very creative, fun, and whimsical. The drink is served to you in a smokey box and the waffles have small gummies replicating eggs. It’s an interesting take on an Old Fashioned and the smokey flavor comes in at the end. And of course, we can’t get enough of those waffles. Rating out of 7: 6
