Joe Rogan has the world’s biggest digital platform at his disposal. His podcast ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ has topped the charts for the most streamed podcasts for quite some time now. The UFC color commentator has an enormous influence over netizens since every episode features a myriad of topics and caters to millions of viewers around the world. Apart from being the perennial voice of the UFC, Rogan is also someone who has never shied away from talking about politics or any controversial topic which even includes former President Donald Trump.
Rogan has credited Trump’s status as one of the most polarising figures in the world. However, he has never picked any sides when talking about the man even when he was one of the initial stakeholders in the UFC. The biggest example of this was when he praised Kamala Harris for her improvement in speech delivery and debates for the upcoming presidential election. Surprisingly this was also evident when Rogan spoke about the devastating Hurricane Helene which shook North Carolina recently. He insinuated what the presidential candidates were going to do about it while speaking to Brigham Buhler in JRE #2208.
Meanwhile, Trump is busy on X posting about his voting polls. He wrote, “I’ll send you IMPORTANT ELECTION UPDATES for North Carolina. Make sure you are ready to VOTE FOR DONALD J. TRUMP by November 5th.” Rogan spoke about the devastating hurricane and the casualties which is rising by the day and stands at 180 people right now. He said, “I wonder how much this aside for those people in North Carolina and Tennessee from the hurricane. Because those people are a lot of people are dead man. I was reading this account. It was a horrific account of these people; grandparents and a child that was on the roof and it was before the roof swept away the building swept away before and they drowned.”

He further added how President Joe Biden had just sent a meager $700 for the emergency payment to households impacted by the devastating Maui wildfires. He stated, “How much relief are they gonna get? Is it gonna be like Maui where you give them 700 bucks?” Nevertheless, it seemed like Trump had a different idea with USA Today reporting that Trump’s fundraiser to benefit victims of Hurricane Helene has raised more than $2 million as of Tuesday.

Rated with a vicious category of 4, Hurricane Helene has ravaged the southeastern states of North Carolina and Florida. It has left several people injured and even deceased in its wake with substantial property damage, leaving citizens without access to electricity or proper houses. In these circumstances, Biden is scheduled to visit the site in the coming days. Furthermore, Kamala Harris who is set to contest the upcoming elections against Trump is also expected to do the same.
Joe Rogan has shed light on previous calamities that have devasted the US and the government’s efforts toward rescue projects. Interestingly, UFC and its associated athletes have always emerged as a beacon of hope amid such destruction. Head honcho Dana White had previously donated $1 million to the Hawaii wildfires relief fund with the country’s own Max Holloway also contributing to the cause. Similarly, Conor McGregor has come forward this time around to assist the people of North Carolina.

‘The Notorious One’ comes forward to help victims of Hurricane Helene
Trump has taken up an honest initiative by authorizing a fundraiser via GoFundMe that has raised more than $2 million for the victims of the tragedy. Meanwhile, ‘Mystic Mac’ has also come forward for the philanthropic initiative. Known to fight fans around the world as a man with a golden tongue, netizens are surprised to witness the ‘rare’ kinder side of the former double champ.
In a story shared on Conor McGregor’s Instagram account, David Feldman articulated, “What I’m gonna do personally is I’m gonna start a GoFundMe, and we’re gonna raise $20,000 for it. And I’m gonna match that $20,000. Yep. I’ll match that personally! So whatever if we can raise 20,000, I’ll match the 20,000 and we’ll distribute it to the people that are inside of our organization and outside of our organization as fans that got affected by the hurricane and we’ll help them out. “

The Irishman immediately jumped in and captioned the post, “Put me down for 20k also! Prayers up for North Carolina.” This simple sentence expressed volumes about his generous and kind heart. The hurricane has ripped through six states like a tempestuous beast, tearing the cities and its inhabitants like a pack of cards. In these dire times, the MMA community including the biggest fighters in the world have collectively come forward to become the voice of the voiceless.
