Movement and fun are good for heart health. To remind us of this are the Piacentines who today took part in the Walk organized by Dino Groppelli as part of World Heart Day 2022. A walk from Piazza Cavalli to Giardini Margherita (where the participants of the walk were welcomed by a flute concert by the Mikrokosmos music school) and back to stay together and healthy with lots of semi-automatic defibrillator at hand to reaffirm the message of prevention because we are in the most cardio-protected city in the world.
“We are proud because no one has as many defibrillators as we do, thanks to the Doctor’s Life Project Daniela Aschieriwe hope they will help save those who need them, ”said Groppelli.
Piacenza joined the World Heart Day especially with the students, who in the morning brought their knowledge acquired in past years to schoolmates, teachers and parents.
In the evening, in the Sala degli Arazzi of the Alberoni College, a charity dinner is scheduled for Progetto Vita, of which part of the proceeds will go to support the nascent telecardiology project of the Cardiology department of the Piacenza hospital. It will be a salmon-based dinner, the “Salmon party”, to remind you that fish and the Omega3 it contains are good for heart health.
