Russia has practically achieved its military recruitment targets for this year set out by President Vladimir Putin after more than 400,000 people signed contracts, according to the deputy chairman of the country’s Security Council.
Russian authorities have consistently hailed the enrollment of volunteers to fight in the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine, while Putin has said that he’s prepared to fight on to achieve his objectives. US President Donald Trump said in an interview published Tuesday that said Russia has the “upper hand” in the war, now well into its fourth year.
