Real Madrid Gets Major Boost with Barcelona Rocked by Setback Before El Clasico

Real Madrid hosts FC Barcelona this Saturday at the Santiago Bernabeu, on the occasion of the tenth matchday of LaLiga.
This match will define the leader of the Spanish league, since for the moment, Xabi Alonso’s team is in first place with 24 points, while Hansi Flick’s men are in second with 22 points, after nine games.
Both teams had had significant absences in previous matches, but apparently, some players are ready to return.
Injury Rollercoaster for Real Madrid and Barcelona
The good news for Real Madrid is that they could finally welcome back the right-backs Trent Alexander Arnold, Dani Carvajal, and the center-back Dean Huijsen.
The Englishman has been struggling with problems from a thigh injury, a similar case to Carvajal (thigh) and Huijsen (muscle). Even so, according to SportsMole, it is likely that all three will return against Barcelona, even if they are not starters.
The opposite is the case for Antonio Rudiger, who is expected to return in November due to a leg injury. David Alaba is also out for this match, but Dani Ceballos is expected to return.
As for FC Barcelona, although they could have Frenkie de Jong back after the stomach virus that kept him out of the last Champions League match against Olympiacos, they have also received bad news.
Raphinha is not expected to make his return for El Clasico, as the Brazilian missed Friday’s training, still due to problems derived from his hamstring injury. A terrible setback for Barca.
Joan Garcia, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Gavi, Robert Lewandowski, and Dani Olmo will be absent.
Real Madrid vs Barcelona: Predicted Lineups
Real Madrid predicted starting XI vs Barcelona: Courtois; Valverde, Militao, Asencio, Carreras; Guler, Tchouameni, Bellingham; Mastantuono, Mbappe, Vinicius.
