We’ve got all kinds of options when it comes to buying groceries here in Minnesota, but lucky us; one of our local stores has been named the best in the U.S.
From the big box stores, to the well-known grocery spots, down to the smaller stand-alone town grocers — most of us have plenty of options when it comes to picking up groceries to feed our families.
However, that’s not the case in all of America, where grocery deserts are becoming a thing, leaving no convenient options for some (especially rural) communities. The trend is becoming more of an issue in some inner city areas as well. Some rural communities in the U.S. are being left with nothing but dollar-type stores for a local option for putting food on the table.
