Women’s national basketball player for the Phoenix Mercury, Brittney Griner, was recently incarcerated in Russia after being caught at the Sheremetyevo International Airport for the possession of hash oil. After considerable diplomatic correspondence between both countries. It was reported on December 8, 2022, that Griner was exchanged for a Russian prisoner, Viktor Bout. Notably, Bout AKA ‘The Merchant of Death’ is a Russian arms dealer and a war criminal. Meanwhile, internet personality, Andrew Tate, had a few choice words to say about the prisoner swap.

Tate was recently in an interview with Rich Cooper. The duo was talking about exchanges when this topic was put forth. And there is no denying that Tate was not too pleased with it.

Andrew Tate was angry with the Brittney Griner – Viktor Bout swap
In conversation, Cooper asked Tate about his thoughts on the prisoner swap. A vexed Tate did not hold back from asking the males who work for the US Government to resign from their posts. In fact, he also mentioned that the government does not care about their well-being.

Moreover, he also drew comparisons with an American spy currently serving time in the gulag, saying, “You know what the worst thing about it is? There is an American Marine, who’s been accused of spying, Paul Whelan. I think, look his name up. Who is in a Russian Jail right now.”
Additionally, Tate also mentioned, “They haven’t swapped the lord of war for the American spy. No, they swapped the lord of war for this basketball player. And left this spy to rot.”
Notably, Whelan is a Canadian-born former United States Marine and security director. And, is currently serving 16 years in a Russian prison for espionage.
Tate believes that the government does not care about men

‘Top G’ also felt that the US Government does not care about men. Moreover, he also strongly believed that this was the reason why Whelan was left to ‘rot in a gulag’. He said, “They will leave you to die. They don’t give a sh*t. You know why? Coz you don’t fit the narrative. Affirmative action now applies to prisoner swaps.”
In the same vein, Tate also revealed that he was confused as to why the government would swap the ‘lord of war’ for someone strategically unimportant.
