Oregon Dealt Unfortunate Recruiting News on Tuesday

The Oregon Ducks are 7-1 and have a bye in Week 10.
Oregon is coming off back-to-back wins against Rutgers and Wisconsin after a crushing loss to Indiana in Eugene.
Dan Lanning’s team faces Iowa, Minnesota, USC and Washington to finish out the regular season with hopes of another high seed in the College Football Playoff.
Despite the loss to Indiana, there are still high expectations for the Ducks this season.
Oregon retains its No. 6 ranking in the Associated Press top 25 poll and sits behind Georgia.
On Tuesday, Oregon received some unfortunate news on the recruiting front as the Ducks missed out on a highly-ranked recruit.
Class of 2026 wide receiver Milan Parris committed to Miami (FL) instead of Oklahoma and Oregon, according to Gaby Urrutia of 247Sports.
“BREAKING: Stow (Ohio) Walsh Jesuit Top247 WR Milan Parris commits to Miami over Oregon and Oklahoma. The 6-foot-5.5, 205-pounder is considered the No. 160 overall player in the Class of 2026. He was previously committed to Iowa State.”
Parris is a four-star recruit, per 247Sports, and was previously committed to Iowa State before changing course at the beginning of October.
Parris also had offers from Auburn, Nebraska, Cincinnati and Illinois, among others, but chose to play for Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes.
He visited Miami recently and is now the fourth wide receiver commitment for Cristobal in the Class of 2026.
Unfortunately for Oregon, the Ducks miss out on a talented offensive player in the Class of 2026.
