Harris, Biden to appear together at Veterans Day ceremony

Nov. 11 (UPI) — Vice President Kamala Harris, a week after her loss to Donald Trump in the general election, will appear with President Joe Biden at Arlington National Cemetery for a Veterans Day Ceremony touting the administration’s success for military members. Biden and Harris will attend a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with first lady Jill Biden and second gentleman Doug Emhoff. Biden will then make remarks at the cemetery’s amphitheater. Advertisement
Biden is expected to highlight the record-low numbers of veterans experiencing homelessness around the country, the administration’s expansion of disability benefits eligibility and records for care and benefits delivered to them.
