The new league year has begun, and the New England Patriots’ 2026 roster is starting to take shape.
The Patriots have signed nine players during the first week of free agency, which unofficially began Monday with the legal tampering period. A handful of those players will speak at Gillette Stadium on Thursday, while executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf will address the media as well.
There’s still roster work to be done, as well; the team has needs at several positions — including tight end, wide receiver and edge — while the possibility of a trade for A.J. Brown continues to loom.
