Pine Island Camp
Pine Island is a non-profit summer camp, in continuous operation since 1902 that fosters boys’ independence, imagination, and character.
While many camps operate as profit-driven small businesses, Pine Island stands apart as a 501(c)(3) organization. For over a century, it has provided boys aged nine to fifteen the most meaningful experiences of their lives. On a small island in Maine’s Belgrade Lakes, campers live unplugged—without electricity or running water. They gain the freedom to make meaningful choices, the support of a community grounded in shared values, and enough time away from home to feel both independent and integral to a unique community they help build.
Whether your son is shy or outgoing, big or small, Pine Island will challenge him to bring out his best in the simple joys and varied circumstances of outdoor living. All of this happens under the close guidance of our caring staff, nearly all of whom are former campers themselves.

At Mucci World Ceramics, Arts Crafts Studio & Marketplace, our mission has always been simple — to bring people together through creativity, joy, and meaningful connection. For over a decade, families, schools, and community groups have come here to create memories, celebrate milestones, and find peace through art.
Thanks to Community Support, just a few weeks ago, we were preparing to close our doors on December 23. It was a difficult decision after pouring our hearts into building a creative space for families, children, artists, and neighbors to gather, create, and connect.
But something beautiful happened.
Our community showed up.
Through encouragement, continued bookings, kind words, and steady support, we were reminded why Mucci World exists in the first place — not just as a business, but as a place of joy, creativity, and togetherness.
Because of you, we are staying open.
Mucci World has always been about more than pottery and paint. It’s a peaceful, creative sanctuary where people of all ages can slow down, unplug, and make lasting memories. From pottery and painting classes to birthday parties, vendor markets, homeschool programs, and special events, this space has become a home for creativity for everyone.
Small businesses survive because of communities. Every class registration, every event booking, every share on social media, every encouraging word — it all matters more than people realize.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us, prayed for us, booked events, brought their children, and believed in what we’re building.
This next season is about growth, gratitude, and continuing to serve our community with excellence.
